Fellowship Project: Blog Posting
After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here:
How does the Lord's plan for your life encourage you to keep on the path of truth?
What does a partnership with God look like? What does it look like to trust Him intimately?
How can you grab hold of God’s script for your life?
1. Submit as a group before the Lord and ask Him to help you with the following questions: What is it that God has called your group to do in your city or country that you can agree upon with each other? How about individually?
2. Why do you think you are meeting together as a group in that particular city or country? How can you take authority over the land? Are there areas that you need to take back and occupy for the Lord?
3. Discuss: Romans 8:29, where He destines certain things to happen in our lives, and that it’s a discovery. Talk about why you’re not ready to go to Heaven because your effectiveness is needed in this realm. Talk about the books that were written about you that have yet to be fulfilled and discovered.
4. Discuss: How you may be going through warfare, but the devil doesn’t want you to hear the good news of the Gospel and that you are effective. You’re not a servant; you’re a son/daughter of the Most High God. You’re a partaker and partner of God.
You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book
—Psalm 139:16 TPT
DISCUSSION:
In His mercy and grace, God ministered to you and kept you when you wanted to give up. God was there for you, and He never planned for you to fail, ever. He says, “If you love me and you're called according to my purpose, it's all going to work out for your good” (Romans 8:28).
God thought of you and planned it out, and then He created you. That's how He does it; He has desire and passion inside of Him. Whatever He says out of His mouth, it comes to pass. His word goes forth and accomplishes what it's intended to do. It does not fail, and it does not come back void (Isaiah 55:11). When He wrote a book about you, He said, “I am going to put my purpose in this person, and they're going to succeed.” He does not doubt nor fear, and you shouldn't either. God has a perfect plan for your life.
If God intends for you never to fail, why is it that you might still believe you can?
DISCOVERING GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE
Isaiah 49:5 TPT: And now, the Lord Yahweh —who shaped me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob’s tribes back to him that Israel would be gathered back to himself, for I am honored in the sight of Yahweh. I find the source of all my strength in my God—
• Isaiah realizes that he was formed in his mother's womb with a plan and a purpose and that he was going to be used way before he was born to bring the tribes of Jacob back together again to form Israel. Isaiah found this out afterward.
• He knows from where His strength comes.
• We’re in this life of discovery as well.
• Every day we can learn something new about who we are and what God has intended for us, and it's unfolding every day.
• You should want to discover God's perfect plan for your life.
• Favor is coming when you are ignited inside with this revelation.
• Isaiah was a major prophet, and he participated in what God was doing; He was not just being used by God.
• We want to be used by God, but we must understand that we are partakers of God.
• It’s more than just taking orders and doing them; it’s a partnership. We are participating as partners.
• We are sons and daughters of God, and we’re hooked up with Yahweh. He designed us with a purpose, and we should be honored.
• We should also honor God for His foreknowledge of us and allow Him to honor us. God’s honor for us should affect us so much that we want to take over the land for Him.
How does the Lord's plan for your life encourage you to keep on the path of truth?
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD
God wants to sit down with us and reveal His plans. That’s what He did with Abraham. Abraham knew that Lot was in Sodom Gomorrah, but he was not supposed to be there. When Abraham split with Lot, he gave him the nice fertile land in the valley for his livestock, so how did Lot end up in a city without livestock?
Abraham was on Lot’s property, and God walked by with two angels and purposely walked through the property on the way to Sodom and Gomorrah. When Abraham saw the men and that the one in the middle was God, he stopped Him and said: “Come on in.” He took Him into the tent, and the angel said, “Should we hide from
Abraham what we’re about to do,” and the answer was, “No, we should not.” The reason was that God couldn't do anything to Sodom and Gomorrah until He talked to Abraham because the Covenant was with Abraham, and Lot was his family.
Lot should never have been there in the first place. He was there against God’s will, but God couldn't destroy Sodom and Gomorrah with the righteous people in there. When Abraham was talking to God, he had hoped that he could save the family, but it turned out that there weren’t even ten righteous ones. It was going to happen quickly, and the people asked for permission to go to a city nearby, and the angel said,” Go, but you’ve got to run. You have to get there quickly.” There ended up only being five righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah that escaped. Abraham was not just a servant of God; He had a partnership with Him, and that's what He wants to have with you.
• Think of yourself from now on as not just serving God; think of yourself in a partnership with Him.
• He has you in Covenant with Himself, in your nation, city, state, or country.
• He has you there because He wants to do something great with you that will change history.
What does a partnership with God look like? What does it look like to trust Him intimately?
TAKE BACK THE LAND
We came to this mountain in Dalton, Georgia, to take back the land for God. A lot of blood was shed here in the civil war, and satan took advantage of that kind of bloodshed with evil spirits. We needed to be the ones to set the example. We've gone to different countries to do the same thing. We've encouraged the pastors there as well to take over.
